SHELBY TAKES OVER! (September 23 – October 4)
What could possibly go wrong?
While Graham & David head off to Europe to celebrate Graham’s birthday on September 27 we’re handing over the keys to our fabulous friend Shelby (click for her IG profile)
For almost two weeks, Shelby will be (wo)manning I Want That One! We’re handing over the keys, the promos, the pours AND the entertainment while we do the very difficult job of eating and drinking our way through Porto, Ribera del Duero, Rioja and Bordeaux.
It’s research. Obviously.
We’ll be tasting, exploring and searching for the next best thing to add to the I Want That One! assortment — and perhaps raising the occasional glass to Graham turning… well, let’s just say it’s a significant vintage.
MEANWHILE, BACK IN DALLAS…
Shelby will be keeping things running, glasses pouring and shelves stocked with all your usual gifts, spices, bottles, art and assorted things you didn’t know you needed until you walked through the door.
Because Shelby also has one of those things we vaguely remember called a “real job,” our store hours will be slightly different from September 23 through October 4.
Check our website and socials for Shelby’s hours, special pours, promos and whatever else she decides to get up to while we’re safely several thousand miles away.
Frankly, we’re a little concerned she may be better at this than we are.
Come in. Say hi. Have a glass. Buy something. Keep Shelby company.
